The Cranbrook Performing Arts Festival would like to thank all competitors that took part in the 2009 festival which saw a marked increase in applicants and audience members. We are delighted to announce that the festival has now been recommended for a full membership to The International and British Federation of Festivals and we would like to take this opportunity in thanking all our volunteers for their support throughout the year.
The Arts Festival is now in it's 3rd year and is open to all abilities in the fields we offer, be it Dance, Music or Drama. This year we have more classes to offer in the Music and Drama classes with the addition of ensemble work.
The Festival is competitive and each child or young person will attain a certificate of achievement, we will also award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals, and trophies. The adjudicators are from outside the area and will impart their knowledge, experience and professionalism to the competitors.
Dulwich Preparatory School, Cranbrook, Kent has been offered as a venue for the main events. A Showcase highlighting individual and group work from all the categories will be performed in a concert to close the Festival.
